DGCL won the tender for the office refurbishment works of a floor in the Eldon Building for Portsmouth University. The site is located in the centre of Portsmouth.
The works consisted of the strip out and demolition of the existing offices and the reinstatement of a number of new offices and partition walls and a tea point. The works also included new ventilation and associated plant works on the roof and a toilet refurbishment.
The project included new ceilings, flooring, cupboards and doors, steel lintel placement, plastering, moving radiators, M&E, lighting, blinds, redecoration and fire alterations.
The alterations and refurbishments resulted in an effective Cat B fit out completed by DGCL.
This project was completed within 8 weeks and on budget.
This is an example of the work that DGCL has been completing in the Education sector recently.
